Duncan Friends Outreach

We love working with local groups and individuals that care about the same things we do—literacy, lifelong learning and access for everyone. We focus on neighborhoods served by Duncan Library where those needs are greatest, teaming up with nonprofits, schools and recreation centers that support kids, families and underserved neighbors. 

Our curated children and teen books in English and Spanish have been shared with:

• Alexandria Detention Center

• KidsFirst Baby Shower in Chirilagua

• Child & Family Network

• Mother of Light Summer '25 Reading Program
